The DubPod Roamer is built for campervan travellers who want a more compact, flexible setup without losing the comfort of a full canvas awning.

Designed as a drive-away awning, it connects neatly onto your van to create a practical living and shelter space, ideal for weekend trips, shorter stays, or keeping things simple on the road. When you’re ready to head out, just detach and leave your setup behind.

With a footprint of approximately 3m x 4.4m, the Roamer offers a well-balanced space that’s easy to manage while still giving you room to relax, store gear, or escape the weather.

Made from durable 285gsm cotton canvas, it delivers a breathable, natural feel that performs well across changing conditions. The heavy-duty zipped-in 540gsm PVC groundsheet provides solid protection underfoot, whatever the pitch.

It also comes ready for stove use, with a pre-fitted fireproof ‘Stove Mate’ flue exit, making it a great option for cooler trips when a bit of heat makes all the difference.

Features like mesh windows, external blinds, strong reflective guy ropes, and integrated cable access all come as standard, giving you a setup that’s ready for real use straight out of the bag.

Everything you need to get set up is included, from pegs and guy ropes to poles and fixings.

Looking after your canvas tent is simple, and a little care goes a long way. Keep it in good shape and it’ll be ready for many trips ahead.

Before Your First Trip

Give it a trial run. A quick practice pitch helps you get familiar with setup and lets you check everything’s good to go before you head out.

Pitch It Right

Take a few extra minutes to pitch properly. A tight, well-tensioned tent is more stable, flaps less in the wind, and puts less strain on the fabric and poles. Clear the ground of sharp stones and sticks before setting up.

Keep It Clean

Brush off dirt and debris after each trip. For deeper cleaning, use cold water and a soft brush — avoid harsh chemicals or detergents as they can damage the canvas.

Mind The Details

  • Don’t force zips — ease them gently if they catch
  • Keep poles and pegs stored separately to avoid damage in transit
  • A small repair kit (tape, spare pegs, etc.) is always worth having on hand

Pack Down Properly

Before packing away, remove any dirt, grass, or moisture. Shorten guylines to avoid tangles. Roll or loosely stuff — but avoid tight folding, as it can weaken the canvas over time.

Always Store It Dry

This one’s key. Never store your tent damp. Once you’re home, air it out fully and make sure it’s completely dry before packing it away. Store in a cool, dry place.

Warranty & Returns

All DubPod tents and awnings come with a 12-month guarantee covering manufacturing defects such as stitching, waterproofing, and missing parts.

This warranty is designed for leisure camping use and doesn’t cover wear and tear, weather-related damage, or misuse (including poles and zips). Replacement parts are available if needed.
