Returns & Refunds
We hope you are delighted with your purchase from Dubpod. This policy explains what to do if you change your mind or receive goods that are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
Change-of-mind returns
If you purchase online or by telephone and decide that you no longer want your order, you must notify us within 14 days after the day you receive it.
If your order is delivered in separate consignments, the 14-day period begins after you receive the final item.
After notifying us, you must send the goods back within a further 14 days.
To request a return:
-
Email hello@dubpod.co.uk
-
Call +44 (0)115 8966797
Please provide your name and order number. You do not need to give a reason when exercising your statutory right to cancel, although telling us why you are returning the product may help us improve our service.
Proof of return
You must retain proof showing that the goods were posted or collected within 14 days after you notified us of your cancellation.
A return will still be treated as having been sent on time if acceptable postage or tracking evidence shows that it was dispatched within the required period, even if delivery to our warehouse takes longer.
Please use a tracked and appropriately insured delivery service and retain your:
-
Proof of postage or collection
-
Tracking number
-
Delivery receipt, where available
Please keep this information until your return and refund have been completed. We may ask you to provide it.
Return postage
We do not provide free change-of-mind returns.
You are responsible for arranging and paying for return delivery. Please ensure that the service you select provides suitable compensation cover for the value of the goods.
If goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us before returning them. Where you have a legal right to return the goods, we will arrange an appropriate return method or reimburse reasonable return costs.
Condition of change-of-mind returns
You may inspect goods to establish their nature, characteristics and operation in the same way that you reasonably could in a shop.
Please return products complete and, wherever possible, with all accessories, components, instructions and original packaging.
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession and for packaging them adequately for return.
We may make a proportionate deduction from your refund if handling beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect the goods has reduced their value. Depending on the product and its resulting condition, this could include:
-
Pitching or assembling a product beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect it
-
Sleeping in or otherwise using camping equipment
-
Using a product outdoors
-
Returning a product stained, marked, damaged or incomplete
-
Returning a product without supplied accessories or components
-
Damage caused by inadequate return packaging
Pitching or using a product may reduce its resale value significantly and could result in a substantial deduction. Every deduction will be assessed individually and will reflect the product’s actual reduction in value.
We do not apply a fixed restocking or depreciation fee to a statutory cancellation.
Refunds
Standard UK delivery is free, so there is no original standard delivery charge to refund.
We will refund the price paid for eligible returned goods, subject to any lawful deduction for diminished value.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method. We may withhold a change-of-mind refund until:
-
We receive the returned goods; or
-
You provide satisfactory evidence that the goods have been dispatched
We will issue the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the goods back or receiving evidence that they were dispatched, whichever happens first.
Returns requested outside the cancellation period
If you first request a change-of-mind return after the 14-day cancellation period has expired, we are not required to accept it.
We may agree to accept a late return at our discretion. If we do, the applicable return conditions will be explained and agreed before the return is authorised.
This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
Exchanges
Please contact us if you would like to exchange an eligible item.
An exchange requested during the statutory cancellation period may be handled as a return and a new order. You will be responsible for change-of-mind return postage and any delivery charge applicable to the replacement order.
Exchanges requested outside the statutory cancellation period are accepted at our discretion.
Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods
If goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide:
-
Your name and order number
-
A description of the problem
-
Photographs or video where these can reasonably help us assess it
Reporting transit damage promptly helps us investigate the matter with the delivery provider, but it does not reduce your statutory rights.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. We do not apply a restocking fee to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
